My mom. I love her. I love her because she lets me call her names like Mamma-Lamma-Ding-Dong and Mamsie. Although Mamsie wasn’t her favorite . . . that one was from Five Little Peppers (maybe she didn’t like the book?). She also lets me sit in her lap, even though I’m 40+ years old. Doesn’t she sound great?

The only problem with Lil’ Mama is that she is hard to shop for. Both my parents are, so it’s a constant challenge. But you know what I really love about my mom? She LOVES homemade Mother’s Day gifts. Which makes me happy, since that’s what I do.

I’m looking for the perfect Mother’s Day project to make her this year, so I wanted to show you some of the best handmade items I found on my search. If you want some great inspiration for your mom, scroll down!
